Work at Camp
Coach Hockey. Live at Camp.
Make a Difference.
Spend your summer at Tanuga Hockey Camp coaching young athletes, living on a lake, and becoming part of one of the most unique hockey camp experiences in the country. We’re looking for positive, energetic coaches and counselors who love hockey, enjoy working with kids, and are ready for a summer they’ll never forget.
Now Hiring Hockey Coaches & Counselors
Tanuga Hockey Camp is actively hiring coaches and counselors for this summer. This is not a typical summer job. You’ll coach hockey, live in a cabin with campers, help lead camp activities, and become part of a close-knit staff team. If you’re a former player, current player, coach, teacher, college student, or someone who loves working with kids, we’d love to hear from you.
🏒 Coach Hockey Every Day
Coach young players on the ice, help with skill development, and bring energy to a program built around growth, confidence, and love of the game.
🏕️ Experience Summer Camp
Tanuga is more than a hockey camp. Staff live at camp, eat meals together, join evening programs, and help create the full overnight camp experience.
❤️ Make a Real Impact
The best coaches are remembered long after camp ends. You’ll help campers grow as players, teammates, and people.
Is This the Right Summer for You?
Working at Tanuga is one of the most rewarding summers you’ll ever have, but it is also demanding. You’ll live with campers, be part of daily camp life, coach hockey, lead by example, and help create a safe, fun, and unforgettable experience for kids. If you’re looking for an easy summer job, this probably isn’t it. If you’re looking for a summer full of hockey, campfires, lake life, leadership, friendships, and memories you’ll carry forever, we’d love to meet you.
A Day in the Life
Every day at Tanuga is different, but staff can expect a full schedule of hockey, camp activities, meals, cabin life, and evening programs.
Morning: Breakfast, cabin check-in, and hockey sessions
Midday: Lunch, rest time, and camp activities
Afternoon: More hockey, dryland, power shooting, or adventure activities
Evening: Dinner, all-camp programs, campfires, and cabin time
Night: Lights out, staff meetings, and preparing for the next day
It’s busy. It’s fun. It’s a grind. And it’s incredibly rewarding.
