Hockey & Adventure Camp Options
At Tanuga Hockey Camp, we combine high-quality hockey training with the adventure, friendships, and traditions of summer camp. Nestled in the heart of Northern Michigan’s outdoors, our camp is designed for players to develop their skills, build confidence, and have an unforgettable summer experience—both on and off the ice.
Campers train daily with passionate, experienced coaches, focusing on skating, shooting, small-area games, and hockey IQ development. Off the ice, they enjoy the full Camp Tanuga experience: boating, rock climbing, trapeze, campfires and team challenges, all in a safe, supportive, screen-free environment. Tanuga is more than just a hockey camp, it’s a place that builds character, leadership, and lifelong friendships. Campers train in age and program appropriate hockey groups and stay in age and gender appropriate cabins supervised by trained staff.

Which camp should my player choose?
Tanuga Hockey uses USA Hockey divisions as a guide, with intentional overlap between age groups. Because camp takes place between hockey seasons and many players may be moving into a new division or playing above their typical birth year level—some birth years are eligible for more than one Tanuga Hockey group.
Families should choose the group that best matches their player’s current or upcoming team, experience, size, skill level, and confidence.

Our girls programs combine adjacent hockey divisions, giving families flexibility to choose the week and group that best fits their player.

Does your player play up or down?
These birth-year ranges are intended as placement guidelines. If your player regularly competes outside their typical birth-year division, choose the eligible group that best matches their current or upcoming playing level.

2027 Tuition & Payment
Skater Tuition: $1,800 per week
Goalie Tuition: $1,300 per week
Tuition includes lodging, meals, hockey instruction, off-ice development, regularly scheduled camp activities and programming, transportation during camp, supervision throughout the week, and a reversible Tanuga Hockey jersey for each camper to wear during camp and take home at the end of the week.
Deposit: A $250 deposit is due at enrollment and reserves your camper’s space.
Enroll Early with Confidence: Cancellations received on or before January 1, 2027 are eligible for a full refund of all tuition and deposit payments made. Beginning January 2, 2027, a $150 cancellation fee applies.
Sibling Discount: Each additional camper from the same household receives $100 off tuition.
Payment Plans: Families may pay in full or choose from the payment plans available during enrollment.
Monthly Payment Plan: After the initial $250 deposit, the remaining tuition balance is divided into equal monthly installments due on the 1st of each month, with the final payment due May 1, 2027.
3-Pay Option: After the initial $250 deposit, the remaining tuition balance is divided into three installments due December 1, 2026, February 1, 2027, and May 1, 2027.
All tuition balances must be paid in full by May 1, 2027. Families enrolling after one or more scheduled payment dates have passed will have their payment schedule adjusted accordingly.
A fun, confidence-building week that combines focused hockey development with the full Tanuga summer camp experience. Players receive two hours of on-ice training each day, along with off-ice development, camp activities, and evening programs.
Designed for players competing at the 10U Squirt level for the 2027–28 season.
U10 Squirt Hockey & Adventure Camp
A balanced week of hockey development and summer camp adventure. Players build their game through two hours of daily on-ice training, off-ice development, and plenty of opportunities to have fun, make friends, and enjoy Camp Tanuga.
Designed for players competing at the 12U Peewee level for the 2027–28 season.
U12 Peewee Hockey & Adventure Camp
A high-energy week focused on hockey development, competition, and confidence, paired with the adventure and friendships of overnight camp. Campers receive two hours of on-ice training each day along with off-ice development, camp activities, and evening programs.
Designed for players competing at the 14U Bantam level for the 2027–28 season.
U14 Bantam Hockey & Adventure CAMP
A fun, development-focused hockey camp built specifically for female players. Campers receive two hours of on-ice training each day, along with off-ice development and the full Tanuga experience including camp activities, friendships, and evening programs.
2027 girls groups include 10U/12U and 12U/14U options, allowing players to choose the week and level that best fits their hockey experience.

Goalie Experience at Tanuga Hockey Camp
We welcome goalies at Tanuga Hockey Camp. Each on-ice session includes dedicated goalie instruction time from our on-ice goalie coach along with individual attention during station-drills and game play.
To ensure quality instruction and adequate ice time, goalie spots are limited per group.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change.
Cancellations received on or before January 1, 2027 are eligible for a full refund of all tuition and deposit payments made.
Beginning January 2, 2027, cancellations are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Any remaining tuition payments are refundable upon cancellation unless otherwise stated.
Tanuga understands that exceptional circumstances may arise and reserves the right, at its discretion, to waive the cancellation fee or provide additional refunds on an individual basis.
Tuition will not be prorated or refunded for late arrivals, missed days, voluntary early departures, or dismissal from camp unless otherwise approved by Tanuga.
If a camper needs to change to another available Tanuga Hockey session, please contact us. Session changes are subject to availability and approval.
