About Tanuga Hockey Camp
The Ultimate Hockey & Adventure Experience
At Tanuga Hockey Camp, we combine focused hockey development with the adventure, friendships, and traditions of classic summer camp. Located in Northern Michigan, Tanuga gives players the opportunity to improve their game, build confidence, try new things, and create lasting memories both on and off the ice.
Our Mission
At Tanuga Hockey Camp, our mission is to help kids grow in confidence, independence, and character through hockey and summer camp.
We want campers to work hard, improve their game, try new things, step outside their comfort zone, and build real friendships, all in an environment where hockey development and fun go hand in hand.
Tanuga gives kids the chance to unplug, be themselves, and experience the kind of growth that comes from being part of a camp community. Our goal is for every camper to leave more confident in who they are, more independent, and excited to keep playing the game they love.
A Tanuga Tradition
Tanuga Hockey Camp is based at Camp Tanuga, a traditional overnight summer camp on Manistee Lake in Kalkaska, Michigan.
Camp Tanuga has been creating meaningful summer experiences for children since 1952. Tanuga Hockey builds on that tradition by combining hockey development with the friendships, independence, adventure, and community that make summer camp special.
