Camp Offering Dates & Rates
At Tanuga Hockey Camp, we combine high-quality hockey training with the adventure, friendships, and traditions of summer camp. Nestled in the heart of Northern Michigan’s outdoors, our camp is designed for players to develop their skills, build confidence, and have an unforgettable summer experience—both on and off the ice.
Campers train daily with passionate, experienced coaches, focusing on skating, shooting, small-area games, and hockey IQ development. Off the ice, they enjoy the full Camp Tanuga experience: boating, rock climbing, trapeze, campfires and team challenges, all in a safe, supportive, screen-free environment. Tanuga is more than just a hockey camp, it’s a place that builds character, leadership, and lifelong friendships. Campers train in age and program appropriate hockey groups and stay in age and gender appropriate cabins supervised by trained staff.
A fun, confidence-building week that combines focused hockey development with the full Tanuga summer camp experience. Players receive two hours of on-ice training each day, along with off-ice development, camp activities, and evening programs.
Designed for players competing at the 10U Squirt level for the 2027–28 season.
U10 Squirt Hockey & Adventure Camp
A balanced week of hockey development and summer camp adventure. Players build their game through two hours of daily on-ice training, off-ice development, and plenty of opportunities to have fun, make friends, and enjoy Camp Tanuga.
Designed for players competing at the 12U Peewee level for the 2027–28 season.
U12 Peewee Hockey & Adventure Camp
A high-energy week focused on hockey development, competition, and confidence, paired with the adventure and friendships of overnight camp. Campers receive two hours of on-ice training each day along with off-ice development, camp activities, and evening programs.
Designed for players competing at the 14U Bantam level for the 2027–28 season.
U14 Bantam Hockey & Adventure CAMP
A fun, development-focused hockey camp built specifically for female players. Campers receive two hours of on-ice training each day, along with off-ice development and the full Tanuga experience including camp activities, friendships, and evening programs.
2027 girls groups include 10U/12U and 12U/14U options, allowing players to choose the week and level that best fits their hockey experience.

Which camp should my player choose?
Tanuga Hockey Camp follows USA Hockey’s classifications.
Because camp takes place between seasons, we include overlap between divisions so players can choose the level that best matches their skill, size, and confidence — not just their birth year.

Goalie Experience at Tanuga Hockey Camp
We welcome goalies at Tanuga Hockey Camp. Each on-ice session includes dedicated goalie instruction time from our on-ice goalie coach along with individual attention during station-drills and game play.
To ensure quality instruction and adequate ice time, goalie spots are limited per group.
